Summer is amongst us. I can remember longing to return back to school during my summer vacation when I was a child. Now that I’m an adult I wish that summer lasted all year long. It flies by now with the reality of a 9-5 job and no real summer vacation. That’s the only thing about having to work, you don’t get as much time off. However, this fluctuates between company to company. Some might offer more holidays than others. I have quite a few days off, but I know that one of my friends struggles to spend time with her children because of the limited number of days off she’s entitled to. I’ve told her before that she should just look for another job if that’s the case. There are many jobs out there, and so many companies are constantly recruiting. She wouldn’t even have to worry about onboarding as many companies complete this job online these days, so it would be easy for her to get a new job. Usually, Employee Onboarding can take a long time, but most companies do it all online now. This would ensure she could get started with her new job quickly. Hopefully, her new job will have more days off that she can spend with her children. Summer should be about family, so be sure to spend it with those who mean the most to you. This year I wanted to put together a Summer To-Do List of things I love to do and wish to do this summer!
When it comes to a bucket list, we’re all going to have a set of goals that we hope to achieve and that’s what’s exciting about it. The sense of accomplishment is what it is all about. Regardless of whether you choose to find a campervan hire located in NZ and go on a road trip with your friends, visit the Eifel Tower or go backpacking, having a bucket list can be quite fulfilling, especially if there is a lot that you want to get done in your life. Here’s to outdoor movies, beach days, summer love and barbecues!
The options are just endless. Maybe even camping will be on our list, as who doesn’t love the opportunity to explore the great outdoors with your loved ones? And summer is the best time of year to get this organized. With the soaring heat, and with the chances of rain reduced, it gives you ample opportunity to do activities that you couldn’t do in the winter, like hiking. As we all know, this can be tiring, so it’s a good job that I have been pointed in the direction of the best hydration packs that are currently on the market to ensure that we can all get through the adventure as smoothly as possible. Even if we don’t hike, I’m sure they will come in for something, like our beach days or barbecues. This summer is bound to be the best one yet. Who’s with me?!
