Today I have some very special news! Last Monday I had a very special opportunity to attend a special taping of The Talk! For those of you who don’t know… it’s a talk show on CBS that focuses on discussing the issues that matter the most both in the headlines and at home. You may also know the hosts, Sharon Osborne and Julie Chen, who are some of the sweetest ladies I ever met. Be sure to tune in TODAY at 1:00PM PT/2:00 PM ET to see me in the audience!
On behalf of Dove myself and 4 other bloggers attended the taping and we all took the #SilkyHairDare as you can see in the pictures above, my hair looks fabulous and silky. Before I headed out to the show I got my hair and make up done. I washed my hair with Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Collection and then I applied the hair serum to the tips of my hair. After getting make up I headed to the taping. They were referring to Jennifer Lopez’s new music video “Booty.” For those of you who have not yet watched it, you must take a look! I personally don’t think she’s too old to be sexy. My motto is if you got it, rock it! After all, some of the most successful adult entertainers on websites such as tubev.sex are mature ladies. There is no age limit on sex appeal.
After the taping we headed to lunch at FIG & OLIVE to have a blogger lunch and got to eat and chat with the entire Dove team and Dove’s Celebrity Hairstylist Mark Townsend who has worked on The Olsen Twins to Natalie Portman. He’s a celebrity hair god and he gave us some really amazing tips that I wanted to share with everyone!
A few tips from Mark:
- Spray your brush with dry shampoo before styling.
- If you have dry hair, be sure to apply gracious amount (3 to 4 drops)of Pure Care Dry Oil Serum into hair before blowing out.
- To tame fly aways spritz a toothbrush with hair spray and comb down those pesky little flyways.
