I honestly can’t get enough of smoothies right now. I’m going through a smoothie phase and this Super Berry Smoothie recipe is quick and easy perfect for breakfast. One serving of this this highly nutrient drink contains over 2 cups of leafy green vegetables, which is more than many people get in one week!
It’s jam packed with natural fibers, and you can ensure that it will cleanse your body and digestive system. I highly recommend making this fresh and in the morning right before you head out for the day.
Here’s what you need.
- 2 cups of Spinach
- 1 cup of frozen Berries (I like Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries)
- 1 Banana
- 8 oz of Almond Milk
- 1 teaspoon of Lucuma powder (found at Whole Foods)
- 1 teaspoon of cocoa nibs (also found at Whole Foods)
- Fresh Mint and extra berries to garnish
Blend all the ingredients together and garnish with extra berries and fresh mint!
