It’s extremely important to take care of your skin. We all want to have healthy, flawless skin. Sometimes to do this we need to try the Coolsculpting procedure with a dermatologist, but sometimes we can get away with some simple steps instead. So, here are a few steps to make sure that your skin is in tip-top shape.
1. Wear sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) daily, prescribed by a dermatologist and appropriate for your skin type. There are so many types of sunscreens and everyone has different skin (I have oily skin) so steer away from SPF’s that clog pores or cause your skin to become more oily.
2. Wash your face morning and evening with a cleanser suited to your skin type and prescribed by your doctor. I often switch up my face cleansers. I have tried face cleansers in Australia before and they were brilliant! However, I don’t like to use a product for too long. Your skin may become used to a product.
3. Never sleep with makeup, remove it completely with appropriate products. I love facial towelettes, yes to grapefruit makes great brightening facial towelettes that correct ad repair skin to enhance your natural radiance.
4. Don’t Smoke.. In addition to causing cancer and other health problems, smoking destroys collagen, elastin and decreases levels of estrogen needed to keep the skin firm.
5. Drink plenty of fluids. Two to three liters of water per day. Avoid coffee and soft drinks. I don’t like soda and I’m not a huge coffee drinker so it’s easy for me to drink plenty of water each day. Plus, these sugary drinks can also lead to tooth decay, so drinking more water can have benefits for your teeth too! As any Dentist in Santa Barbara will tell you, the drinks we consume can have a huge impact on the whiteness of our smile.
6. Eat a balanced diet incorporate (color), consisting of fruits, vegetables and grains they not only help your health but also beautify your skin! Stay away from fats, fried foods, sugars and red meat.
7. Get good night’s sleep, it can do wonders for the skin, promoting nutrition and detoxification of the body.
8. Hydrate your body every day, with special attention to neck, elbows, knees, hands and feet. Use a lotion that has Shea butter for extra moisture and hydration. Avoid hot baths/showers. Use luke-warm water to wash, then rise with cold water to tighten your pores.
9. Wear assets that promote cell renewal, as well as products containing antioxidants. I use a Retin-A cream that helps generate new cell renewal for the skin. Ask your dermatologist about a cream suited for your skin type.
10. Combat stress. Exercise, mediation, and prayer are all great ways to combat stress. Stress can trigger and release radicals that are important for healthy skin. To neutralise stressful days why not try looking in to CBD products like those reviewed at CBD oil UK. Research shows that CBD products are thought to boost your mood and help you relax. So, jump on the treadmill, purchase some CBD oil or get your inner zen on… you’re that much closer to better skin and internal beauty.
