Orchid’s have always been one of my favorite plants. They give off beautiful blooms and are easy to maintain since they do not need to be watered every day. In fact they are considered to be the most highly coveted of ornamental plants, the delicate, exotic and graceful orchid represents love, luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece, orchids were associated with virility. Now that Jonathan and I have our own home together we love to fill it with living plants that make it our space a feeling of wellbeing. My mother always told me that bringing living plants into your home makes it a happier and calmer calmer environment which I really wanted for our new home together. Now I’m going to show you how to pot my favorite indoor plant, you can make one for your home or gift it to a friend or family member.
Step 1. Gather all your supplies, you’ll need a orchid plant, shears, a pot of your choice, and sheet moss.
Step 2. Put Orchid in pot and cut sheet moss.
Step 3. Place sheet moss in pot to cover orchid roots.
Step 4. Place Orchid plant in an desired area. I put min the the center of our coffee table and I love to put them in areas all around my home, like the powder room and guest bedrooms.
